"Lay Down Your Arms" gets a makeover
-August 22, 2022

Tim has announced he will be releasing a new single on Thursday, September 1,2022

"Lay Down Your Arms" (2022 version) is a remake of a track originally released on "In My Travels..." in 2003. The B-side is a cover of Gene Clark's "I'll Feel A whole Lot Better" which was originally recorded by The Byrds in 1965.

"I was never really happy with the overall sound of this song when it first came out" Tim explained. "These days, technology has improved to the point where I can finally get this track it sound as I orginally had intended it to...the way it sounded in my head when I first wrote it."

Both songs were a complete solo project with Tim playing and singing all parts on both songs. The tracks were recorded, mixed and mastered at his home studio, Mellow Landings World HQ in Chicago.

The songs will be available on all streaming platforms as well as on his site. You can order the track by clicking here.

Chicago show 'on hold'

 - May 28, 2020

Tim's upcoming June 6th Chicago show has been 'put on hold.'

In a newsletter sent to his website subscribers and followers on         social media, Tim said the following:

     Hi,

I have an update regarding our June 6th show at Silvie's in                  Chicago. Unfortunately, the news isn't good.

      For now...

I have spoken with the promoters who informed me that due to            restrictions im place because to the COVID-19 virus, the venue            will be not be allowed to re-open in time. Therefore, they have              no other choice at the present time but to postpone the show.

In my 49 years of playing music professionally, I have never had          to cancel a show for any reason, so this announcement is                    particularly hard to make.

      That's the bad news.

The good news is that I have also been informad that the show         WILL be rescheduled when things return to normal (whenever             that is and whatever that may be). So, although we may not be             able to get together now, we certainly will be able to (hopefully)           very soon! So, as they say on the radio, "stay tuned!"

Thank you for your continued support and patience through                 these trying times. Stay safe and stay well!

       -Tim"

       Stay tuned....

"Denver" sighting in England

 - March 7, 2020

How does a guy from the south side of Chicago end up on the charts of a site from eastern England?

The LAAMB Art & Music Promotion website was started in 2017 and initially dedicated to musicians and artists in the Lincolnshire area in Great Britain. Since then, the site has gone global, centering on "everybody who contributes to the arts."

Recently, the site started a Top Ten chart, the criteria for inclusion on two sources: one being by Readers’ votes and via Plays on Drooble, the Social Media site for Musicians. Their premier chart placing showed Tim's cover of Bob Seger's "Get Out of Denver" placing in the Top Ten.

You can check out the LAAMB Music charts and find out more about the site and organization by clicking here.
